Real Personal Injury Clients: May 30 2012
05/31/12
These are real stories about our real auto accident clients. All names of individuals have been changed to protect the innocent and the guilty alike. But names of insurance companies are real, and the details of what happened have not been changed.
- L.A. was t-boned by a driver who ran a red light in SE Portland in September of 2011. Six months later, the pain was still there and an MRI revealed disk herniation in her back. Like many of our clients, L.A. chose another attorney who did not live up to her expectations – and so she hired us instead. Now, we are helping her get the treatment she needs while we deal with the insurance companies.
- J.B. was driving in Salem, Oregon on a dark rainy night when traffic forced her to stop. The person behind her, however, did not stop and she was rear-ended. After several months of visiting the chiropractor, Progressive insurance decided to stop paying after an independent medical examiner said she no longer needed treatment. Well, her chiropractor knew better, and referred J.B. to DuBois Law Group for help. We are making sure her PIP coverage pays her medical bills, and will help her get compensation from the at-fault driver’s insurance company as well.
- S.M. was a passenger in a car driving near Newport, Oregon. A car in the opposite lane lost control, and hit the car he was in head-on. Later, the driver of the other car was cited for DUII. S.M. was immediately taken to the hospital for broken bones, torn ligaments, and a concussion. After reading about our firm online, he called us for questions about insurance coverage and using health insurance. Currently, we are helping him investigate the causes of the crash, and a possible product liability claim for the car.
