We are committed to full and open communication with our clients. The complaint we hear most often about other attorneys is that they did not communicate often enough with their clients. While many people with personal injury cases are confused and frustrated, we try to educate OUR clients about the case process, their options, and the best course of action – so that you’re left feeling confident in your representation and your choices.
To keep you informed and updated, our Attorneys communication policy is to call you on a regular basis to:
- Update you on what is happening with your case.
- Get updates about treatments, and discuss medical issues.
Many times we will call more often, depending on what stage your case is in, what information we need from you, the schedule of your medical treatments, etc. We promise to keep you informed and “in the loop” at all times.
Phone Calls To Our Portland Office
You can call or email our office at any time about details of your case. If you do not reach someone immediately, we will do our best to reply to you the same day, or at least within 24 hours. We encourage you to call or email with any questions, concerns, or developments with your case. Our team is happy to help.
Please feel free to email us. We check our emails daily, and it is usually quicker than calling on the phone. The quickest way to get any questions answered is to contact your paralegal, whose email address is on the front of your binder.
Phone Calls with our Personal Injury Attorneys
Generally, our attorneys do not take unscheduled phone calls. We know that to focus on your case we must be able to dedicate uninterrupted time to provide you with the highest quality of legal services. Playing “phone tag” is a waste of our time and yours. And we value both.
All phone calls or meetings with an attorney should be scheduled through your attorney’s paralegal. Please call 503-222-4411 to schedule an appointment or a phone call.
Visits to our SE Portland Office
Please call ahead and schedule all office visits. If you drop by without calling first, it is unlikely that a lawyer, or a legal assistant, will be able to spend significant, quality time with you. In urgent situations, we will try to accommodate you, but even then, it is important to call first, because even emergencies can often be handled over the phone, and it won’t help anyone if you show up and we are not available, either because we are busy with other cases or are meeting other clients. We want to be able to devote our attention to your case, when you come in.
