I loved working with Sean DuBois. It was a very positive experience. Sean was really great to work with. I would recommend him to anybody, and the process was as pleasant as it possibly could have been. I never felt stressed about the case. I never felt worried, because I felt like he was really on it, and I trusted him, and he had it covered. My favorite part of working with him was that he was just very good at what he does, and he just alleviated all that worry. The results were much better than I had hoped for actually, because going into it the other driver didn’t admit any fault, and so as the case progressed, it got more complicated. What I was being faced with was going to be some percentage my fault, even though it seemed very clear to me that it was definitely not my fault. But because of legality and whatnot in the State of Oregon, Sean was preparing me that there might be some percentage that would be my fault and what that would mean and all that. So I had prepared myself kind of for the worst case scenario, and it just turned out so much better than I had even hoped, so I was 100 percent not at fault and so that was wonderful. I was very happy that I didn’t have to have the conversations with the insurance companies on the phone, because it got a little bit complicated, and I was very happy to let someone else who is professional deal with talking to the insurance companies about everything. I think it could have been a lot more messy than it turned out to be and more stressful. I felt like all the stress was taken off of me. All I had to worry about was getting better and getting back to my normal life, and it was really nice to not have to worry about what I had said to the insurance company, or talking to them again, or trying to prove anything. All I had to do was just get better again. I mean Sean is great. He’s easy to talk to. He’s very trustworthy. He just allows you to be yourself and just talk about what happened, versus feeling at all like uncomfortable or intimidated or like I’m talking to a lawyer, like what if I say the wrong thing. He’s very calm, and the words are escaping me, but he’s really easy to work with, and I always felt very comfortable working with him.

I’m very pleased with the service. [The case] was very stressful. From the aches and pains I had in the beginning to dealing with the insurance companies one-on-one. But then, having to go through litigation, it was very stressful. And it makes you feel like you’re a bad guy, and having somebody on your side proving that you’re not the bad guy, that you’re a victim feels very nice. And that’s exactly what happened. From the beginning of our first appointment with Sean, just the formalities of: This is what I have to bring to him; this is what he has to offer, and we met in the middle. It was totally in the middle. No empty promises. It was: This is what I can do, everything else is up in the air until we get to the end, you know, it’s out of our control. Any questions I had, he explained in full detail, but in layman’s terms. . . . Sean prepping me, the meeting beforehand, worked out really well. The preparation for that helped me a lot. I tend to talk very fast. And Sean, he helped me with that so that I could come across not scatter-brained and scared and confused and just really focus on the truth. And that was very helpful.

In the end my case was successful and I even ended up with more money that I had originally expected. All without stepping foot in court!

I bought you doughnuts because I was so happy that you helped me, and I just wanted to show you my appreciation for getting me the most money that you could for my troubles, for my pain, for what I went through, and I really appreciate that. I got hit by a drunk driver driving home from a concert one night. My neck, two discs in my spine. My neck twisted, my back twisted, my shoulder. When I first met with Sean he was really nice. I’m Denise Dale and I was rear-ended on the freeway. We pulled off and exchanged information and I was pretty much in shock.
