Seg\u00fan The Oregonian<\/em>, Abimeal Jaime, 27, de Keizer, Oreg\u00f3n, era gravemente herido en una colisi\u00f3n con un cami\u00f3n <\/a>protagonizado por Dvane H. Wood, de 45 a\u00f1os, de Damascus, Oreg\u00f3n. El accidente ocurri\u00f3 el 2 de octubre de 2009, alrededor de las 3:30 AM.<\/p>\n

Jaime viajaba hacia el norte por la autopista 99E, en Brooks, Oreg\u00f3n, cuando su Honda Civic de 1999 se desvi\u00f3 hacia el tr\u00e1fico en direcci\u00f3n sur y choc\u00f3 contra un cami\u00f3n Freightliner conducido por Wood. Una ambulancia transport\u00f3 a Jaime al Hospital de Salem. Wood, quien llevaba puesto el cintur\u00f3n de seguridad, no result\u00f3 herido en el accidente; no se sab\u00eda si Jaime recibi\u00f3 alguna. usando sujeciones para pasajeros<\/a>.<\/p>\n

La Polic\u00eda Estatal de Oreg\u00f3n est\u00e1 investigando la posibilidad de que el alcohol haya sido un factor en el accidente.<\/p>\n

Respondiendo al accidente estuvieron los oficiales de la polic\u00eda estatal, el Distrito de Bomberos del Condado de Marion y el Departamento de Transporte de Oreg\u00f3n. El accidente cerr\u00f3 la autopista durante aproximadamente tres horas.<\/p>\n
