Two people are seriously injured after an Oregon vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 26 east of Frog Lake near Government Camp. The Oregonian<\/em> reports the collision was head-on. Apparently, the driver of a 1999 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck drove over a patch of ice and lost control of the vehicle. As a consequence, the pickup crossed into the opposing lane of traffic, crashing head-on into a 1999 Honda CRV driven by Stephanie Clanin, 35, of Bend.<\/p>\n

Oregon State Police are conducting an investigation into the Oregon car accident, which caused the pickup truck driver and a male passenger to suffer serious injury. Both were taken by ambulance to St. Charles Medical Center in Bend. Clanin was not injured in the crash. All passengers involved in this accident were wearing their seat belts. If seat belts had not been used, their injuries could have been much worse.<\/p>\n

Most Oregon residents understand the possible dangers of driving during wintry weather. If you can avoid driving on icy roads, please do.
