A woman was killed and two others were injured when her vehicle was struck by a suspected drunk driver. <\/a>Portland\u2019s Major Crash Team is investigating the collision.<\/p>\n

OregonLive.com<\/em> reported that a KIA Sportage being driven by Tessa Conradi, age 32, was struck by a Chevy Suburban at the intersection of Northeast Cully Boulevard and Highway 30, also known as the Portland Highway. Conradi died at the scene.<\/p>\n

Police reported that the driver of the Suburban, Jesse Ream, age 38, ran away from the crash scene but was apprehended a few blocks away. He failed to cooperate at first, and police suspect that Ream was driving drunk and speeding.<\/p>\n

Conradi\u2019s passengers, Shorona Rowland age 27, and Charlotte Mose, age 34, were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ms. Conradi\u2019s husband, family and friends as they mourn her loss in this senseless crash. Ms. Conradi was a paralegal and held the position of President of the Pacific Northwest Paralegal Association (PNPA).<\/p>\n

In the wake of a tragedy like this, each person must deal with it in whatever way works best for them. We would never try to talk someone into taking legal action.
