En comunicados de prensa actualizados, la Polic\u00eda Estatal de Oreg\u00f3n informa ahora que dos veh\u00edculos separados atropellaron a una mujer que cruzaba la calle en un cruce peatonal marcado recientemente.<\/p>\n

La mujer fue identificada como Chastity Ann Banks, de 27 a\u00f1os, quien cruzaba en un paso de peatones en la Avenida Southeast 82nd con Otty Road alrededor de las 3 p.m. del lunes 3 de enero. Un Kia 2004 conducido por Sarah E. Guenther, de 19 a\u00f1os y residente de Happy Valley, fue el primer veh\u00edculo en atropellar a Banks mientras Guenther realizaba un giro a la izquierda desde Otty hacia la Avenida 82nd. Una camioneta Ford F-150 conducida por Craig H. Dunlap, de 48 a\u00f1os y residente de Happy Valley, tambi\u00e9n estaba girando a la izquierda detr\u00e1s de Guenther e intent\u00f3 pasar por la derecha de Guenther, quien se hab\u00eda detenido porque ya hab\u00eda atropellado a Banks. Dunlap tambi\u00e9n atropell\u00f3 y pas\u00f3 por encima de Banks.
\nFuentes de noticias de Portland informaron que testigos presenciales en un veh\u00edculo cercano vieron a Guenther aplic\u00e1ndose lo que parec\u00eda ser b\u00e1lsamo labial en la intersecci\u00f3n unos segundos antes del accidente.<\/p>\n

Banks fue reportado por \u00faltima vez en estado cr\u00edtico en el Hospital de la Universidad de Salud y Ciencia de Oreg\u00f3n por las heridas sufridas en el Accidente de peatones en Oreg\u00f3n<\/a>. Banks, anteriormente de Atlanta, Georgia, vive en el \u00e1rea de Portland.<\/p>\n
