Five people suffered minor injuries in a two-car crash July 18, 2010 on Highway 126W near Florence, Oregon, according to an OSP press release. Police responded to the scene around 9:45 AM.<\/p>\n

The crash occurred after a car driven by Lilas Dunn, 60, of Eugene, exited a driveway onto the highway, preparing to head eastbound. As Dunn entered the roadway, a westbound car driven by Royal Murdock, 71, of Eugene, rounded a blind curve. The two cars collided.<\/p>\n

Dunn and Murdock were taken by ambulance to Peace Harbor Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.<\/p>\n

Three passengers in Murdock\u2019s car, Maralyn Murdock, 88, Benjamin Livingston, 25, and Venessa Manahan-Rial, 27, all of Eugene, were also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.<\/p>\n

All occupants of both vehicles were wearing safety restraints. No citations were issued.<\/p>\n

State troopers from the Florence Worksite are continuing to investigate.<\/p>\n
