Eating lunch at your favorite restaurant just became more dangerous than you’d have ever though. On Tuesday, March 12, 2013, The Oregonian <\/i>reported that nine diners at one Lake Oswego restaurant had their midday meals interrupted when a teenager crashed an SUV into the porch<\/a> and entryway of Casa Del Pollo\u00c2\u00a0 Restaurant. Fortunately, only one customer suffered a minor arm injury, but the restaurant didn’t fare as well and a local construction company had to secure and shore up the building until the owner can schedule repairs.<\/p>\n

No citations have been issued thus far in this incident, however, Lake Oswego law enforcement are continuing to investigate the mishap and have not yet revealed the name of the teenage driver of the SUV. According to the owner of the restaurant, it was fortunate that more injuries didnt occur as a result of the accident because on most days during lunch hours there are usually several people sitting by the front door an insurance nightmare for both the restaurant owner and the teenager’s auto insurance provider had any of the clientele been seriously injured.<\/p>\n
