Most people who are injured choose the second way, the contingency fee, and how it works is you don&#8217;t pay us any money up front.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>You come to us.<\/li>\n<li>We take your case.<\/li>\n<li>We do all the work.<\/li>\n<li>We get you a settlement or a verdict.<\/li>\n<li>We get you money somehow and then you pay us a portion of that money.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">That portion is usual one third, that&#8217;s the typical amount.
