A car struck a bicyclist before crashing through a fence and hitting a house.

Just after 2pm, a car being driven by Candice Palmer, age 63, struck a bicyclist in the 6000 block of SW Multnomah Boulevard. Palmer’s vehicle then crashed through a fence and hit a house.

Portland police reported that the bicyclist, Reese Wilson, age 20, suffered life-threatening injuries and was in serious condition.

Palmer was cooperating with the police investigation since the crash, and police said that alcohol was not a factor.
